Sometimes seeing the amount of notes and syllabus you have to read can be
overwhelming especially for WAEC exams.
This is because you think of how long it will take you to read the notes before you even start.
For you to keep yourself interested in reading, ask yourself
“How much can I achieve in the next 2 hours?” instead of “can I read all this books?”
With this approach, you won’t easily overwhelmed by the volume of study you need to do.

The next thing you need to do is committing to a single task.
Just pick a particular topic in your syllabus you to want to read and commit to it.

For example
In your Biology textbook, you could pick reproductive system and read all about it for one hour or more,
Instead of reading about reproductive system, after 10 minutes you are already reading about Economics.
If you do this you will quickly get bored and uninterested in reading.

Set yourself up for success and pick one thing to focus on at first then commit to it.
According to research, committing to a particular task will makes it a whole lot easier to get that one very important thing done.
