Covid-19 : Religious organizations, Vulnerable women, children benefit from Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Palliative package



Several religious organizations, Vulnerable women and youths, medical practitioners have started benefiting from the generosity of Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the Vice Chairman Of Ikorodu LG and the National deputy chairman of the association of local government deputy chairmen of Nigeria as she shares some palliative packages to support the needy amidst Covid-19 crisis.

The beneficiaries that number more than a thousand have also taken to the streets of Lagos to appreciate the benevolence of the renowned politician and CEO of Grace Foundation.

According to information, the palliative package distribution has been on for the past two weeks, jointly organized by the Lagos state government and Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba delivered in batches, and the latest one is Batch G.

Hon. Princess Folashade Grace Olabanji-Oba stated that the initiative targetted the medical institutions at it's preliminary stage simply because of the challenges being faced by some of our health workers personally.

"Currently they are our heros and the soldiers we have standing on the frontline to combat ConVid-19 and they need all the support they can get from us the loyal citizens" said Princess Folashade



"As we proceeded in this initiative we now saw the need to shift our line of Support also towards the venerable people around us who are in need of support at this time of lockdown. With the extension of the lockdown we know we all have to step up our efforts in supporting one another .There are people right now who dont know how to scale through even today with their families.



"This is a time nobody planned for... And just like they say "Desperate times demands for desperate measure", So whatever we can do presently as individuals, government and corporate bodies to assist and support in keeping our communities and society in a positive spirit as we all stay indoors .



Aside from Extending her kind supplies to the less privileged in the Communities, The initiative has currently reached out to so many youth groups and female bodies ,security and health care workers physically challenged churches and Islamic organisations in Ikorodu in a bid to ease the hurts and keep the love widely Extended.



" We are in this together. It must all be a collaborative effort. We don't know how long it will take for us all government , and individuals to truly work together in completely eradicating this Pandemic, But we must try our possible best to ensure that our kindness continues and our reaching out to the masses in order to make them understand the importance of living a safety cautious kind of life is our priority".



"To All our Muslim brothers, Sisters, Clerics and Alpha's out there, It is time for us to begin Praying fervently in this period of Ramadan in a sober manner for Allah to intervene for us as a community, State and Nation to effectively fight against this invisible enemy because I believe that together we shall overcome this health crisis we have found ourselves".



"I want to say thanks to our Commander in Chief, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR for his Leadership. My Profound gratitude and approval of Efforts towards the zeal and capabilities of our Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, his awesome team at keeping our state of excellence above all other states..and He is doing tremendously well to rise this state above this challenge...

A big hearty thank you to our able and amiable team at Ministry of Agriculture , Our Hon. Commissioner, Hon. Gbolahan Lawal,our S.A. to the Governor on Agriculture, Ms Ruth Bisola Olusanya, the P.S.to the Ministry of Agriculture ànd all the workers ..They have been indefatigable, passionate, dynamic and dedicated to making sure that our people in Lagos state does not go hungry’’



Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba also expressed her satisfaction with the distribution pattern of relief materials in the state and applauded the state government for excellent job.

‘’I want to say again that we are forever grateful and thankful to all our frontline responders and health personnels across-the-board, You're the ones we are counting on after we finished praying to God for solution, You have left your various families to put your lives on the line for our National Safety, We say God bless you for all you are doing for our country so far, you will never be forgotten’’.

Furthermore, she urged Nigerians to continue to stay safe, maintain a social distance and ensure that they follow the rules that has been set in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.

This too shall Pass, Because I Truly Care!
