President Buhari yesterday sent nominees to the Senate for approval into the board of the Federal Character Commission. One of the nominees, Tobias Chukwuemeka Okwuru (aka Aliezza) died 2 months ago. Okwuru was the pioneer Chief whip of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly (1999-2003), and a former Commissioner. He was a former House of Reps member under the platform of the PDP (2011-2015). He defected first to the Labour Party and later to the APC. He is an indigene of Ezza South LGA in Ebonyi State. He is number 12 on the list.
