Ebonyi State has recorded its second case of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to IgbereTV reports, the Commissioner for Health in the state, Umezurike Daniel, made the announcement on Wednesday.

Daniel revealed that the case was a 27-year-old man, who returned to Ebonyi from Asaba, Delta State, with his pregnant wife.

According to the commissioner, the patient tested positive twice while his wife tested negative twice. The index case has been taken to the isolation centre.

Ebonyi State is recording a second case of Covid-19, three days after recording its first case.

Omo, this community spreading is real. This is why I am not in support of the lockdown to be lifted because it's gonna bring more issues for us.
