A Bill for an Act to repeal the Quarantine Act, and enact the Control of Infectious Diseases bill, which was the most fundamental item of their last plenary session, has passed a second reading in the House of Representatives . Nigerians on social media have protested the swiftness the Green Chamber at Abuja employed to ensure the bill passed through second reading. NO PART OF THE BILL SUGGESTS FORCED VACCINATION. IT ONLY DELEGATES FEW POWERS TO THE NCDC TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES LIKE EBOLA, LASSA FEVER AND COVID-19. IT'S REALLY APPALLING THAT MAJORITY OF NIGERIANS HATE THE FOUNDER OF MICROSOFT , BILL GATES , DESPITE HIS HUGE PHILANTHROPIC EFFORTS IN NIGERIA INCLUDING HIS GESTURE OF PAYING OF 70 MILLION DOLLARS OF THE COUNTRY'S DEBT. nony43: Exactly. Countries that have really been hit by the pandemic may not accept migrants who do not have certificates of vaccination. The conspiracy theorists do not understand the role of herd immunity in preventing the reoccurrence of a pandemic. COVID-19 is not a NON-INFECTIOUS disease like Cancer.
