Alutarian greetings to you all COSPEDites and TASUEDites at large.
ADIGUN AKOREDE RASHEED is my name. I am the outgone president of College of Specialized and Professional Students Association (COSPEDSA) 2018/19, It is my pleasure to use this medium to outline projects achieved under my administration as the leader of this great college with the tag ''Progressive 18/19''.

It will be of honour this effort so far be appreciated by the new regime through maintaining a consistent pace and adding more value in areas uncovered.
Here below are the much achieved through the long road:

1. FREE GOOGLE DIGITAL TRAINING
This leadership observed the need to equip the students of Tai Solarin University Of Education, Ogun State (TASUED) with knowledge of digital marketing and other technical/entreprenueral skills in order to prepare their minds for the digital labour market.
This reason prompted us to organise a Free Google Digital Training for all students. The programme was achievable through the aide of Google Digital Personnel we invited and turn-out by students was positively massive.
Students from different colleges in this great citadel of learning were able to learn different skills about digital marketing and other profession in technology.

It was hosted at TETFund Hall in Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State (TASUED) as dated.
Moreso, we complimented this programme with different gift items such as T-Shirts, bags, books, bottles, etc made available to lucky students who participated in Question & Answer session.

2. COSPED PRESS:
Uniqueness is a subject made real under this administration as one of the proven facts is initiating a campus press. This is a great milestone being the first college to ever establish a press body,
The press was established in order to fill the information gap between Student, Associations and the management. The press logo was designed to suit and pass iconic message on the purpose of the press and all other activities relating too that.
This project was also designed to encourage students with the passion of journalism groom the talent. It accommodate two participants in every level in the six departments of COSPED which makes the total of forty-eight (48) members of the press.
However, all the departments and college Public Relation Officers (P.R.O's) by virtue of their responsibilities are made automatic affiliated members. They are meant to collaborate with the press to propagate and disseminate accurate information throughout the campus.

3. OFFICIAL WEBSITE:
it is a credit to note out that College of Specialized and Professional Students Association (COSPEDSA) is the first college association to ever have an official website,
The website was created in order to have an official owned online platform to desseminate information and other purposes like; Online Suggestion Box where students can make complaints, suggestions, observations and recommendations for the association.
Also, the website hosts different general past questions with aim of preparing the minds of our students for examinations and tests. The platform also give room for all COSPEDSA to be featured as the Face-Of-The-Week on weekly basis. There are lots of other benefit attached to the online platform just to mention a few. 4. COLLEGE BOOK SOUVENIR;
In the days of our adminitration as the pilot of COSPEDSA 18/19, we found the necessity to produce book souvenir for our students as part of acquaintance and motivation to what we had on ground. We produced and distributed the little as we could across all departments in (write name in full) COSPED.

5. MOST POPULAR CONTEST:
This was established to create a sense of belonging in the minds of our students.
This award category is merited by the students (participants) who possessed the highest Like on our Instagram platform, The programme also helped us to improve the followers we have had on our Instagram accounts.
The winner of the contest was given a merit award on our college day.

6. TIBE COLLOQUIUM: This TIBE is an acronyms of Talent Hunt, Intellectual Competition, Beauty Pageant and Eye test for free, is an innovative development which give rooms for students who are sound intellectually and have some hidden talents which need to be showcase to the world.
I. TALENT HUNT: This involves students participating in showcasing their trained and God given talents to the students. This is like a medium for great talents to showcase.
II. INTELLECTUAL COMPETITION: This is an interdepartmental debate, where two students will represent their department. This was the most focused aspect of the day because we believed we are not only tutored to be useful for ourselves but also to have the abilities to reason fast and sharp in whatever situations we find ourselves, we made used of some of the best outstanding students in campus to be judge of the way, there are free and fair, it was fun filled educative programme.
III. BEAUTY PAGEANT: this was the process to scrutinize the students who will be the MR and MISS COSPED who were later crowned at COSPEDSA social day
IV. EYE TEST FOR FREE: Eye is part of the sensitive part of the body, which we observed most students have eyesight issue but took no step to get the solution, we worked with this organization who brought the eye test for free for all tasuedites at large, it was really helpful to the students because they were properly tested and told the issue with their eyesight and how to overcome it.

7. FOOTBALL JERSEY:
We would not want to be left out in the world of sport; soccer was choosen and so we acquired football jersey for our college. This effort speaks volume for us each time the college football team match out. We were able to set a record as the first college to ever have a football jersey in Tai Solarin Univerity of Education(TASUED). This record is set apart as important.

8. REPLACEMENT OF OLD SIGNBOARDS:
We were moved to have the face of noticeboards shine again just as we experience in some other places when we move outside the campus. This caused us to get new signboards to replace the old ones throughout the campus.

The importance of this effort is undoubtedly to keep information afresh in the eyes of beholders as well as their minds. Information is power and we cannot do away with the fact that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.


9. PROVISION OF WASTE BASKET:
in effort to maintain cleanliness & serenity in and around the campus vicinity, we considered the need to make available waste collectors in the school premises.

The provison of waste baskets within the school premises is to expel any form of littering or improper disposure of refuse around the corner and it might interest everyone to know that this concept has installed that discipline of proper disposal of refuse while the campus remains well kept.


10. DRUGS DONATION TO THE SCHOOL CLINIC:
Health remains paramount in everyone's life as nothing could have been achieved without good health. The thought of maintaining stable health status for students of COSPEDSA (name in full), we swung into making provision of First Aid materials/Drugs to the school clinic.

This was to support the effort of the paramedic team discharge their duties as required in the campus hence students need not to stress so much in acquiring primary health care within reach.


11. I-REP-COSPEDSA FREE STICKER:
This idea was initiated to create/boost awareness about the existence of the college and what we do so far. This was helpful as it has turned out a success story by external candidates paying closer attention to COSPEDSA (name in full). Those who received the free stickers have become our ambassadors thus giving linkable information to even alumni members.


12. CULTURAL AND HUMANITY DAY:
The fact that we exist out from different family & ethnic background cannot be over-emphasized as we deemed it fit to create this special event for all student member to showcase their cultural heritage and as well learn about each other's way of life outside COSPEDSA:

The students who have partaken in this event so far, have categorically set a pace for others to learn how best to promote their individual cultural prowess.

In a nutshell, the resultant effect of this effort is of great social value as the college archives would thirst for its missing portfolio should this event is put out of space.


13. CAMPAIGN AGAINST INDECENT DRESS AND OTHERS: The virus eating deep into the lives of young fellows in the name of indecent dressing is one of the major concerns in the days of my leadership. As students of higher learning who ought to represent the image of the school as well as inculcate values onto others, we considered a tool to war down the act of indecent dressing in and around the campus.
State the process for which you achieved this. Here below is a mere suggestion
(To achieve this, we mapped out rules and regulations, sensitization programmes, implemented some forms of religious exercises which condemns the attitude)


14. CLASS ROOM GUIDE BANNER:
As part of our attitude to growing in civilization, we adopted the a simple method to add beauty in our informattion sharing by designing digital flex banners to aide directions throughout the classrooms in such a way that identifying ways in & out was made easier.

The essence for this effort is to reduce the stress of asking and answering frequesnt questions from new-intakes/visitors in finding their way while heading to classes.


15. SUGGESTION BOX (Online & Offline):
Our consciousness concerning communication is unlimited and cannot be undisputed in each step we took to fostering that. We would wish to know how other students feel about us/our administration or may wish we touch some part where lies untouched.

We need to reach out and be reached and so, we made available Suggestion Boxes at strategic points/places as well as on our online medium. This has really been helpful to the administration in relating with issues that matters most.


16. STAKEHOLDER VS EXCO FOOTBALL MATCH:

The spirit of sportsmanship is a soul to every team work. We invented the soccer sport to consolidate the mutual understanding which exists between the Executive Council members of the organization and her Stakeholders.

A remarkable date (state it clearly) was scheduled for a football match between both teams and this turned out a good spirited tradition which cannot be erased.


17. CERTIFICATE:
All stakeholders and students who participated to the success of the regime were recognized and given certificates because we believed this will serve as reference purpose for their good deeds not only in the school but outside the school.


18. MERIT AWARDS:
Without being bias effective stakeholders and supportive students were recognized and given merited award for their thorough usefulness in the regime



19. AWESOME COSPED DAY:
The college wearing a new look in all rammifications under this administration cannot afford to leave any stone unturned. We necessitated the tradition of remarking day of creation for COSPED which was not taken into cognizance earlier before this regime.

Interestingly, the idea was welcomed and accorded with much reciprocation from all and sundry in the college till date.



20. FOOD AND REFRESHMENT FOR ALL PROGRAMS:


21. SPORT/JERSEY DAY.
We would love to identify with active sports members in the campus and hopefully inspire and motivate such talents into nest of success hereafter.

This event became ideal and the means of achieving it was to host a day whereby all participants come in contact with their jersey for sporting activities.

This colourful sporting event has not been regretted a bit.

25. REOPENING THE COLLEGE ABANDONED TOILET:
There is always need for expansion in every organisation just as we took over, we put into consideration to restoring some useful facilitties in the school as much as we could. We would not bold enough to stand the embarrasment of indiscrriminate defication within the campus should we fail to expand where necessary as the population grows.

Utilizing what was available became ideal as we moved on to rehabiltate the old toilet structures and made them assessible once again.

This has really provided great relief to the students in the campus as they do not need to stress at any corner when pressed.
