The Ministry of Education in Lagos State has said that no school in the state is permitted to resume for the third term session pending further directives from the government.

Reacting to a write-up being circulated on social media about a new set of guidelines for school resumption purportedly reached by an unnamed Commissioner for Basic Education, the ministry in a statement signed by the head of Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Kayode Abayomi, said the write up did not emanate from the state Ministry of Education and should be disregarded.

According to him, no decision has been made regarding any new guidelines for implementation as regards school resumption.
