I don't have a problem with them going on strike but I think they can be very hypocritical when they also decide to scuttle the labour actions of other health professionals like Nurses, Scientists, Pharmacists, Physiotherapist etc. for asking for better welfare and life insurance too.

Physicians in US, Canada, UK do not attempt to scuttle the bargaining agreement on the welfare of other health professionals and specialists. But here, Nigerian physicians do it with relish.

Physicians in Nigeria must learn to be unmeddlesome of labour and welfare issues as it affect other professionals bodies if they must earn the sympathy of Nigerians who see them largely as greedy bullies.
