Why exactly do most of these governors wait for a "presidential" directive before doing the needful in their various states??!... Is there not some degree of autonomy, or are they just largely clueless and useless??!

Some states waited till the president gave the first address about locking down just 3 states before it occurred to them to do the same in their states, same thing with setting up testing centers, and isolation wards... Don't even get me started on state border closures!!! Why such dullness and follow follow??!

I think they told us that the state has closed all its border, how come to the state recorded four new cases that came to the state all the way from the northern part of the country if go to nine-mile now, you see trailers loaded with human-beings coming from the northern states to Enugu state. our borders are still open

Enugu people are seriously starving especially ndi Nsukka. How can you lock down a state for over one month without palliative? Task force people everywhere extorting huge amount from people. To pick a your goods from the Ogige Market Nsukka, you have to pay at least #500k or #5000 depending on the security stationed. Market women selling foodstuff by the roadside are harassed daily by task force people... This lockdown has really opened our eyes to what the state government is capable of. Only God will judge.

All these are just word of mouth people still travel through land border to Enugu daily.
