It doesnt really matter as they are all good but wordpress is simpler.

When coding you will encounter some things you have to deal with that wordpress simply offers features for that you dont need to worry about

Go for wordpress. Coders are usually angry cos its as tho the long hours and days required to code a simple landing page could be achieved within minutes on Wordpress.

More like Nipost getting angry cos there is something called email. Some might argue design flexibility, but I'm telling you; you can get any sophisticated and fluid canvas/wordpress template you desire. Na your pocket go judge.

CNN, GLO, Aljazeera....are a few big firms running their websites on wordpress. It can be easily modified to suit your personal requirements. Debugging is quite easy as well. Basically, plugin manufacturers update their creations through extensive coding and you are only required to click a button to update it on your end.

Wordpress simply makes life easier, whereas coding is just for showoff. Thats as far as building a website is concerned.
