Anambra State Governor's Wife, Dr. Ebelechekwu Obiano, has commissioned and donated a bungalow and water borehole to a widow, Mrs Ifeoma Ogbuanukwu, of Umuehi Village, Akwaihedi in Nnewi South Local Government Area.

Commissioning the project, Dr. Mrs Obiano said the gesture was in line with the core objectives of her NGO, CAFÉ, to build free houses for indigent widows, noting that twenty-seven houses have been built and handed over to beneficiaries across Anambra State.

Dr. Mrs Obiano, who explained that the Covid-19 pandemic has drastically changed the world, forcing people to stay at home, said the new two-bedroom bungalow was intended to ensure that the beneficiary stays at home and safe, in the spirit of being one’s brother’s and sister’s keeper.
