Once you hear our politicians talking about money for projects, know that opportunity has come for them to steal.

You should ask them, do they have qualified project consultant teams comprising professionals other than the lawyer minister of works and the minister of rails whose credentials are not known?

Or have you ever heard of ministry of health being controlled by lawyer?

Essentially, what we are having now are politicians wanting to work as project administrators, such projects are bound to fail because by the time they finish they would have overrun the budgets and incurred debts on the same projects.

For example, look at the rail that amaechi has been supervising for years now yet he keeps postponing the date of completion while they keep borrowing money on it.

With project consultants, contractor and project costs can be properly monitored and then we can get value for the money allocated for projects.

Tell me a period in your life time when people do not complain of hard time.

There could be, as has been for years but surely these projects need special funding as we can't afford to risk so much expenditure on them alone when we have so many other things that needs funding... I recall that the present state of Lagos Ibadan expressway was achieved with help of SUKUK BOND....... Besides there are strict guidelines on how this abacha loot is to be expended which I don't believe anything can change
