COVID-19: Infinix Mobility Donates Food And Other Materials To Lagos State Govt. by beejayvince(m): 9:29pm On May 05, 2020
Many industries around the world are currently at a standstill as a result of the current coronavirus pandemic. In fact, it is so bad that global smartphone shipments in the first quarter of 2020 dropped by 17% year-on-year. In spite of this, some companies are donating relief materials to help people across the world survive this period.

Infinix Mobility played that role in Nigeria today, donating a truck-load of various food items and materials worth several millions of Naira to the Lagos State Government. These materials are meant to support the Government in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs. Solape Hammond, the Special Adviser to the State Governor on SDGs and Investment, received the items on behalf of the State. Other people in attendance were Mrs. Abosede George, Director, Admin and Human Resources, Office of SDGs and Investment; Mr. Opeyemi Adewunmi, Infinix Brand Representative; and Mr. Charles Edosawon, CEO, TEKSIGHT EDGE PR.

Meanwhile, Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL) also donated relief materials to the Lagos State Government on Monday.
