Investing in fixed deposits and bonds is a great idea/investment only in a very stable economy, not in an unstable economy like Nigeria.

Nigeria is a hot bed of periodic recession and inflation that has constantly lead to the devaluation of the naira minus thousands of percent,so it's not advisable to invest in a fixed deposit or bonds in Nigeria.

At the end of the day the value of whatever capital you have invested in your fixed deposit and bonds, plus your profits will all be devalued by a reccesion sheduled to strike the without any form of resistance from the economic defensive mechanism of the nation.

In summary during a reccesion your might loose all your money, because the purchasing power of the naira will be devalued by the CBN,and this will in turn affect all your investments.

A good example is the Zimbabwean economy, kindly read about it online.

Don't be a victim of the next recession in Nigeria.

after going through your blog I agree with the No.2 but as for the NO.3 how can one go about it and beside don't u see that Govt knowing fully aware the rate at which people horde dollar here might come up with a policy like they are doing now with domiciliary account.

Thr most important thing is you making money and living well. The truth is you need success morr than Nigeria.

It's all about the success of Nigerians, not Nigeria.

Think like a capitalist.
