Davido’s 10th anniversary in the music industry; His career, scandals, relationship

May 7, is a very significant date in the life of Music star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.
On this day in 2011, Davido released his debut single ‘Dami Duro’ which turned out to be a massive hit and a national anthem not only in Nigeria but in the world.

Davido rose to stardom almost immediately as his song enjoyed massive airplay, great reception and top notch reviews from music lovers.
Few months after that, Davido already became a celebrity, he put out several more songs like All of you, Gobe, Ekuro, Back when, One of a kind, to mention a few.
All these songs surprisingly were massive hits and Davido became a household name in Africa especially.

We rise by lifting others

10 years from then, Davido is already a world figure, he has done songs with those regarded as music legends, he has done several international collabos, he has created ways to some other musicians to succeed, he has quite a number of people whose success story will never be shared without mentioning his name.
Davido’s motto over the years has been ‘we rise by lifting others’ and of course, this is one thing responsible for his rise. He has helped a lot of young stars become what they are today.
Outside his record label, he has helped the likes of Zlatan Ibile, Lyta, Poco lee, Bella Shmurda, Victor AD, to mention a few.
Within his label, he has carried the likes of Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Yonda, Dremo, on his shoulder , to make them ‘popular’ in the music industry.

Achievements
Davido’s has gotten it all as a musician. He floated his label, Davido Music World-Wide, signed a few artistes who are successful, he has gotten lots of international awards, signed several endorsement deals, to mention a few.

His Loyalty
Everyone would attest to the fact that Davido is someone who is very consistent and very good in maintaining useful relationship. He has several people whom they started together and till now, they are still together.
Shizzi (Producer), Spesh(hypeman), Asa Asika (Manager), to mention a few have been with his right from the start and till now they are all still there.

Relationship Life
In the past 10 years, Davido has had a sexual relationship with three women who have given birth for him. The first was Sophia Momodu who gave birth to his first daughter, Imada. The second was Amanda who gave birth to his second daughter, Hailey, the third, who later became his fiancée, is Chioma, who have birth to his third child and first son, Ifeanyi

His Scandals
Every celebrity have a time in their lives when they are faced with some serious allegations. Davido too has had his own share of the cake.
During the death of one of his friend, Tagbo, Davido was alleged to have killed his friend by a popular actress who was his friend’s girlfriend, Danjuma Carolina.
Also, he was accused of killing DJ Olu who was found dead in a car with another friend.
He has also been accused of stealing people’s song and the inability to write songs.

His long-time feuds

Every music lover believe Davido and Wizkid are never in good terms. They believe there is a supremacy battle between the both of them, although none of them have come out to confirm or deny the claim, both have not also had any song together up to date.

OP you said that Davido sign some few artist who are not successful hmmm....

So you are telling us that Mayorkun and Peruzzi are not successful as an artist......

Maybe you don't know how big Mayorkun is in Lagos..

Mayorkun sold out the famous 02 Arena in London incase you don't know
