AHOADA WEST COUNCIL BOSS, HON. HOPE IKIRIKO COMMENDS GOV WIKE FOR HIS FORESIGHT IN KEEPING RIVERS STATE SAFE.

The executive chairman of Ahoada West LGA, Hon Hope Ikiriko yesterday has commended the governor of Rivers State, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike; CON, GSSRS, POS (Africa) for his commitment and foresight in keeping Rivers State safe amidst the devastation caused by Covid-19 pandemic.

The council boss made this statement when he took delivery of the huge palliative sent by the governor through the Chairman of the state Covid-19 Palliative Committee, Ambassador Desmond Akawor in Akinima, Headquarters of Ahoada West LGA.

He said despite the long distance that separates Port Harcourt from Ahoada West, the governor is still able to touch the lives of his people meaningfully. He further commended the governor on his visionary drive and all the proactive measures he has taking so far, stating that the results are self-evident as Rivers State being one of the busiest states in Nigeria still records low infection rate of the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic.

He assured the chairman of the Palliative Committee that the food items will be equitably distributed to all and sundry in Ahoada West LGA.
