I've always wondered when someone is considered to be an adult.Being an adult,does it relate to age or reasoning abilities? At the age of 18,a person has the power to vote and can go to jail if he commits a crime.Does that make the person an adult?.In our society, an individual who is 20 can still be regarded as either a boy or a girl.If thats the case,then at what age is someone still a boy or girl?

Anyone that is of age to be sentenced to jail for a wrongful doing is an adult

^^^^hhhmm if you look around, you will see that many "kids" (as young as 16) are judged and sentenced as adult these days. . . . . . i doubt they are ADULT but they sure did ADULT CRIMES, thus the court judging them as adults.

in the "LEGAL" sense, it all depend on where you come from, in the US you have to be 18(some states 19 and others 21) to be considered an adult while in Europe it's mostly 18.

in the "LIFE" sense, it all depend on the person. some mature faster than other and you would have 17yr olds that are more mature and "adult" than a 30yr old (and vice versa)
