Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giants launched the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 in November last year. As at then, it was the world's first 108MP camera sensor on a smartphone. It had one of the most flexible setup at that time considering it's penta camera setup with two telephoto camera alongside an ultrawide camera and a macro camera. The Mi Note 10 Lite comes with a 6.47 inches 3D curved AMOLED display. It was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a 5260 mAh battery with 30W fast charge and was launched with MIUI 11, Android 9. The phone has been doing quite well, sales-wise, and even got a watered down version recently in the form of the Mi Note 10 Lite.
One thing that it hasn't so far received is an update to Android 10, which is weird because a lot of other (even older) Xiaomi devices have. Well, the wait is finally almost over for the Mi Note 10, as today the Chinese company has started rolling out an update to MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
The update will be arriving with a build number MIUI 11.1.1.0 QFDMIXM. It’s a Global Stable Beta update and weighs in at 2.6GB. The firmware is being pushed to beta ROM users at random and will take, maybe days, before it starts arriving for the general public. Nevertheless, you can still check the updater app and see if the update is there.

Meanwhile, coming along with the Mi Note 10 Android 10 update is an updated Android security patch for April. It also comes, as usual, with bug fixes, system optimization, and security.
According to reports from users, the camera, fingerprint unlock experience, and overall system speed have been enhanced. There's also a new live AOD feature. However, built-in call recording seems to have vanished in this build.
