i hope the cases in Abia State won't sky rocket in the coming weeks. Abia economy is already bad and shutting down the whole system will make it worse, that's why the governor wants to relax the lockdown |

AgroTrade: Get out with your unfounded fears. Should everywhere be locked endlessly? Humans are built to confront and survive new challenges, not to run into holes over any little scare. You can stay in your hole for eternity, after all inside or outside you will still die. But why die many times first? |

EBMedia:Some Nigerians have abused the easing of the lockdown by not adhering to the social distancing and putting on of face mask rule in banks and other public places. Abia state people who gathered to celebrate Kali's court verdict without observing the social distancing and putting on of face mask rules would definitely not be an exemption in Nigeria in keeping the rules that comes with the easing of the lockdown. Since a substantial number of nigerians can't obey lockdown easing rules, I believe and recommend the lockdown should continue across the nation with the exception of only essential goods that should be permitted to pass through state borders and only food markets, pharmacist and other essential goods markets should open on at least thrice weekly so that people can restock their essential goods needs. If these measures are put in place,it would help in not only stopping the community spread of the virus but also in contact tracing of contacts with covid-19 patients. However state border testing should also not be neglected. |
