Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday arrested and detained the CEO of a shawarma firm in Makurdi for failing to account for N1600 being the amount paid by a customer who purchased shawarma. The arrest generated serious protest from social media users including Ukan P. Kurugh, a popular media personality in Benue State, leadaing to her release today. |
