On Monday, the Nigerian government confirmed the receipt of $311 million looted by late dictator, Sani Abacha. In a statement, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, through his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Umar Gwandu, said approximately $311,797,866.11 of the Abacha loot was repatriated from the US and Jersey.

According to the Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, the money will go to completing infrastructure projects in the country. However, Yul Edochie isn't impressed with the government's sincerity. The actor questions whether Nigerian leaders swear to any deity before they take over office that they will never fix the country.

Yul Edochie goes on in his Instagram post to point out that to fix all sectors of this country will cost less than what Nigerian leaders are stealing. He also stated that even if N1 billion each is allocated to Nigeria's 20 National Teaching Hospitals, N102 billion 'change' would be 'leftover'.
