With the current international travel restrictions, Nigerian government should order its various embassies or consulate to allow
it's citizens whose international passport has expired or about to expire to renew their internal passports without visiting any
embassy or consulate since everybody with the current digital passport has his/her data stored by the Nigerian immigration.

As lockdowns are gradually being eased-down by various countries, Nigerians residing in countries where there is no Nigerian embassy or
consulate should be able to renew their international passport in a nearby embassy or consulate without being present.

People from countries like India and others countries don't need to visit their embassy or consulate to renew their international travel
documents even before the lockdown. All they need to do is to apply for it and pay a delivery fee. Despite the lockdown, international
delivery services are still permitted.

Only first-time applicants or extreme cases should be allowed to visit the embassy or consulate. This will in-turn reduce congestion
and save costs.

I know many Nigerians whose International passport expired or about to expire including students during this period who are currently stranded or frustrated.
Essentials should be moved online as other countries are doing.

Nigeria is messed up, really.

I have applied for renewal, with my fingerprints and picture taken at one of their embassies since late February.

Till this day, they keep telling me there are no passport booklets available yet.

Now, consider how this pandemic will make the situation even much worse
