The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has personally supervised the demotion of Prodest and Prudent Hotels, in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Bittertruth Media recalls that the Rivers State Government has ordered the demolition of the Hotels for flouting its lockdown orders aimed at halting the spread of Coronavirus in Rivers State.

Gov.Wike alleged that the Patrons of Prodest Homes Motel, Eleme injured and seized property of Covid-19 regulation officials who went to enforce regulations on the management of Covid-19 in the state.

Meanwhile, a cross section of Rivers People and Residents have described the action of the Governor as sheer wickedness.

5. When you pull down this hotel... you equally pull down;
a) the man's source of income
b) his family and dependent
c) the employee's source of income
d) their families and dependents
e) the hotel suppliers line of income
f) their dependents
Sometimes in life we say well to a situation not because we are cowards but because of the multiplier effect of the action.
Certainly i like you as a governor but on this case you are wrong based on the available information that led to this.
A good leader should among all have a few that should tell him ...you are wrong so as to help him not to allow pride mix up while sensitive decisions are to be made.
Finally, yes a good leader makes mistakes but a wise leader fix it with boldness.

Y do this, could d governor not have placed d place under lock and key until such a time he deems fit to reopen it?
Y allow power get u so intoxicated to d extent of destroying another man's means of livelihood?
On this I say Wike has done very bad, and he will somehow pay for it.
