The Rivers state Governor,Nyesom Wike has temporarily lifted the lockdown making up the capital,Port Harcourt and Obio-Akpor local government areas of the state.

Governor Wike,who had earlier declared the state on total lockdown,said in a statewide broadcast that the curfew would return on Thursday.

He further explained that the temporary relief is to make people replenish their foodstuffs and medicine.

Well, it’s time to get essential commodities. For me “essential commodity“ means a hair cut and refreshment of braids. For my mother it means food stuff for the family. For my old man it means two days of working at his office. The lockdown hit him the most since he has no idea how to enjoy himself. Oh yes, fuel for the generators. For my brother it means restocking his poultry business. For my sister it means hanging out with friends. Lol. I love how humans are individuals regardless of living under the same roof.

I am shocked NEPA is doing well this period. Who knew they could provide such good service. We’re not at 24hr/day standard yet. 12 or a little more is not bad at all.
