In Akwa Ibom State, Governor Udom Emmanuel has risen to his profession as somebody, who has a broad idea of creating a self-sustaining, economic-driven system for his people, by attracting money-spinning industries to boost the economic base of the state.

He has provided the enabling environment and atmosphere for the likes of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises to thrive with relative ease. As a well equipped player in the financial sector with massive experience that spanned over decades, the governor understands that the task of changing Akwa Ibom State’s status from a purely civil service state to one that could be economicaly self-sustaining.

To him there was the need to have a strong industrial direction and vision. Thus, he started by creating an enabling environment for the industrial revolution in the state by providing the enabling infrastructure such as roads, electricity, and others.
