The Benue state action committee on COVID-19 has intercepted a man who tested positive for Coronavirus in Lagos in a Gboko bound 15-seater bus at Otukpo, Benue state. The man was said to have boarded the bus from Lagos following his mother's advice to return home. Speaking with newsmen, Chairman of the committee, Benson Abounu said that all the fifteen passengers including the positive case from Lagos have been isolated and their samples have been taken to Abuja for testing.
