my dear no law was broken. Executive order is not a law. Issues under executive orders are handled with light fines and punishment of community service. Not even imprisonment. Executive order as the name goes is not an act of parliament. Aside from that, Wike has been harrasing federal workers on essential assignments, like de maritime workers he arrested on saturday. Its wrong bcs they are on essential assignment with NPA pass. NPA is a federal body. De caverton helicopters pilots he arrested had ministry of aviation pass. De Mobil workers he arrested are under NNPC oil workers cover. Wike arrested PHED MD who is on essential duty and dispossed him of his police escort and seized their vehicles. He did all these things to people that fall under the purview of de federal authorities using a police trained and maintained by de federal authorities. He showed total disregard for de federal authorities and does not know de limit of his own power and authority. He has just shown himself to be an empty barrel.

There are laws and there are executive orders.
Then in Jurisprudence there is something called "Desert "
It simply means that the punishment must be commensurate with the crime that was committed.

Running business during a pandemic should not be punished by demolition of property....it is just so wrong.
Arrest, fines, sealing of premises okay but destroying someone's sweat without due process is a call for anarchy.

If Wike destroys some people's property over something as flimsy as this...he will finish his tenure and they will deal with him in a devastating fashion eye for an eye.

Why can’t Wike take the matter to court and let the court decide the punishment for the lawbreakers? He became the Complainant, prosecutor and judge all this happened in less than 24 hrs. Don’t support evil.

The reverse is the case, drunken reckless dictatorial abuse of power by state governors is exactly why we should never have state police. Even with little security detail, see the kind of power drunk behavior been exhibited, arresting anyone he feels like anyhow, making draconian laws, without following due process and in violation of the constitution. A governor will arrest, he will prosecute, he will deliver judgment, he will carry out the judgment because he has turned himself to a god, forgetting 2023 is just 3 years away. If not that Buhari is a very weak president, many of these governors won't be misbehaving anyhow.

Some people just like to talk rubbish. Show me where it is written in River's state constitution that any hotel that breaks lockdown. rules will be demolished. Where is the law approved by the river's state house of assembly backing the action or the law enacted through the river's state judiciary? None! Be talking rubbish. Yet people like you will scream Abacha this and that, yet you're supporting a governor violating the same constitution he swore an oath to protect. You clearly no nothing about how a government is run under a democracy

Buhari is just too weak for my liking. How can a Governor be using a Federal Police paid and maintained by the FG to harass FG workers on essential duties on instruction from the FG and the so called FG is just looking and doing nothing about it.
