From Offa here, a colleague had to go to Ilorin this afternoon. We got to the park and we were told that the transport fare is now #800, four passengers in a car. Before the pandemic, Offa-Ilorin (Kwara State) costs just #300. An increment of #500 per person. And normally, the maximum a commercial car could convey at a time is just six passengers. I did the calculation, #300 to #800, I can't just understand why we would have to exploit fellow people so much.
How is transport in your state?

Imagine that!
When the fuel is still at normal price.

Yet, we keep blaming the govt even for our self-inflicted pains.
May God save us.

The case is different here in Lagos especially for places I ply very well.
Before implementation of lockdown in commercial buses and after.
Ogba busstop to Ikeja was N100/ 7 seaters mini bus,
Now it's N150/5 seats, meaning the driver gained just N50 more than before.
Ogba bustop to College was N50/4 seats keke maruwa
Now it's N100/2 seats, meaning the driver gained nothing more than before.
Ogba to Oshodi was N200/17 seats big yellow bus,
Now it's N250/ 9 seats, meaning the driver lose about N1250.
So far in Lagos the drivers have been fair.
