Jordan's king warned Israel of a "massive conflict" if it proceeds with plans to annex large parts of the occupied West Bank, as European Union foreign ministers agreed to step up diplomatic efforts to try to head off such a move.

Israel has promised to annex Jewish settlements and the Jordan Valley, which could spell the end of the long-stalled peace process by making it virtually impossible to establish a viable Palestinian state.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has moved a step closer by reaching an agreement to form a government after more than a year of political deadlock.

Jordan's King Abdulla II, in an interview published by Der Spiegel on Friday, issued a stark warning over Israel's plans.

EU to launch diplomatic push against Israeli West Bank annexation
Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has moved a step closer by reaching an agreement to form a government after more than a year of political deadlock.

Jordan's King Abdulla II, in an interview published by Der Spiegel on Friday, issued a stark warning over Israel's plans.

"Leaders who advocate a one-state solution do not understand what that would mean," he said.

"What would happen if the Palestinian National Authority collapsed? There would be more chaos and extremism in the region. If Israel really annexed the West Bank in July, it would lead to a massive conflict with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan," he said.

Jordan is a close Western ally and one of only two Arab states to have signed a peace treaty with Israel. Abdullah declined to say whether annexation would threaten that agreement.

"I don't want to make threats and create an atmosphere of loggerheads, but we are considering all options. We agree with many countries in Europe and the international community that the law of strength should not apply in the Middle East," he said.

Unveiled in January, the controversial plan gives a green light for Israel to annex about a third of the occupied West Bank, leaving the Palestinians with heavily conditioned statehood in scattered territorial enclaves surrounded by Israel.

The EU has already rejected Trump's plan.

The bloc has long been committed to a two-state solution based on the 1967 lines, with the possibility of mutually agreed land-swaps. Israel seized East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in the 1967 war. The Palestinians want all three to form their future state.

"In our opinion, an annexation is not compatible with international law," German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Friday. "From our point of view, changes to borders must, if at all, be the result of negotiations and happen in agreement between both sides."

Zionist ass lickers posturing to gain relevance. It will happen and they won't do anything. In fact Saudi and it's allies will continue normalizing ties with Israel. They've all betrayed the Palestinians with the exception of Iran.
What these fools don't realize is that the zionist will never be contented with the lands of historic Palestine alone. When the zionist are done with all of historic Palestine, they will move on to these countries that are barking without doing anything. In fact the zionist already annexed part of Syrian land(Golan heights, though this was possible because Syria is currently dealing with a bigger threat) they've invaded Lebanon at least twice with the intention of grabbing land but were chased out by hizbullah with the support of Iran. The zionist political systems works in a way that requires their leaders to keep promising the followers more land from their neighbors for them to remain in power.
Israel has in peacetime attacked and violated the sovereignty of virtually all these mideastern countries with the exception of Iran, Pakistan and countries in the Arabian peninsula.
The one time Israel sent jets into Algeria, they were met with overwhelming force that their pilots had to turn back because the Algerians anticipated the attack.
The earlier these puppet Arab states realizes that Israel is trouble for them either right now or in future and start acting on it the way Iran and it allies does, the better it will be for them.
The zionist know that they will be defended to the last drop of American blood so they can attack anyone knowing the victim won't want to be on America's blacklist. Israeli citizens enjoy free universal basic health care, education, housing and so on yet get billions of dollars every year from US that it's citizens are dying because of lack of these things.
There is a reason why Israel hasn't declared its borders.

Well what you is truth, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UEA and Egypt are solidly behind Israel just make some noise for the consumption of the masses while in reality they support Israel. Personally I don't think Israel Is making the right choice because adding another 4 millions Arab into Israel is another time bomb it is their greed that will killed them by all means they want all the land on the other hand they want an exclusively Jewish state.

Israel will turn those Palestinians to refugees, it will never accept them as citizens. As it is, they are making life miserable as second class citizens for their Arab citizens so that those Arabs would consider migrating to other countries.
