No Unemployment In The Olden Days. by lawani: 12:10pm On May 17, 2020
Despite the fact that the economy of the olden days was not as diversified as what we have nowadays, they still managed not to have the problem of unemployment. In Europe they had feudalism and everyone was working the ground for the feudal lord and no one was left out, there was therefore no unemployment. In Yoruba land, everyone was a member of a compound called agbo Ile with a head called Baale. Everyone was thus accounted for with no one at all left behind. The society managed to tackle unemployment. It was a kind of ancient communism. A free market communism. The present society can learn from the olden days and be sharing out employment to all with no one left behind. Employment should be socialized.
