Yeah that's the question,

Does hairs grow on a dead body??

I ask this question because something happened on February, immediately before lockdown,

My friend's dad kicked the bucket on February and was deposited to the mortuary,
But before his death, he had no hairs on his jaw(bears).

My friend who called me yesterday to escort him to the morgue to check on the dead body ahead of the funeral, but on getting there, to my greatest surprise, hairs have grown on his jaws which made me and my friend to shiver.

Pls any scientist , mortician, doctor or spiritual being in the house to please explain to me because I'm confused about the whole thing

Please I need clarification to satisfy my curiosity.

Hair and fingernails may appear longer after death, but not because they are still growing . Instead, a persons fingernails and hair may appear longer because the skin around them has retracted, according to the Dermatology Clinic at UAMS. After death, dehydration causes the skin and other soft tissues to shrink...
