Dropping English go hard die. I swear tribes too much.

In the future if 9ja splits. Its just necessary for schools to make a Nigerian Language compulsory b4 admission.

For instance UNILAG admission requirements must include a credit in a Nigerian Language. With that students will be encouraged to speak and really understand their language as well as English.

I sabi people wey be say na soso english and when we get to d street, they cant even speak their native language. Its a disgrace. Parents teach kids english at home, the one dey teach in school is ok.

Some can speak but cant even read from a book.

Imagine a yoruba, igbo or hausa guy speaking thier native language verbally but when a book written in their language is presented to them, they cant read. It's that bad

But come to think of it, English isnt our problem. Our mindset is. The black man likes to blame everyone except himself for his misfortune.
Look at Ethiopia , Rwanda or the likes of Sierra Leone that speak a common language, how far have they gone?
We can still maintain our english with our mother tongue and excel. But instead,we wilk be busy bashing and insulting each other.

And English seems to be our new scapegoat!

Maybe we expect foreigners to write books in our langauges or they'd drop down from the sky, because we sure aren't writing in our langauge and its us who don't teach our own children our languages too which I am sure we would do if we valued our languages, but obviously don't enough.
