Dean Of Student Affairs And VC Of MOUAU Hijacks Palliative Meant For Students by Charlie212: 2:48pm On May 18, 2020
The dean of Student affairs and the SUG PRESIDENT MOUAU conived to hijack palliative meant for stranded students in within the school premises. The state government through the office of the Student Union Government Otuonye Famous sent some palliative which consists of bags of rice, tubers of yams, hand sanitizers and cash. and the items have been hoarded by the Dean of Student affairs of the school. she said "those around are not students and she only recognize those staying in the school hostel
and that the palliative will be distributed after the lockdown". The students converged in the school since 8 am and since then the SUG president has not shown his face in the school.

after a peaceful protest by the students, the vice chancellor Prof. Francis Otunta came out to address the students, telling them that it illegal for them to still be around school, so therefore their gathering is illegal. he further stated that the palliative came through the office of the SUG president Otuonye Famous and they should arrange for a sharing point outside the school. he further stated that Abia State government gave the school only 7 TUBERS OF YAM, 5 BAGS OF RICE, 30 CARTONS OF INDOMIE, 1 BAG OF GARRI AND HAND SANITIZERS. the VC and the SUG president gave contradicting figures the VC said 5 bags of rice, the president said 8. He categorically stated that there was no money attached to the palliative which we know is not true. ABSU students in the same state shared their palliative the following day after they received it from the government. each student got cash worth N5000 2 paints of rice and other items.
the question here now is why can't Prof. Francis Otunta appear on the internet for the right reason even if it's once before his tenure expires.

The Dean of Student Affairs instructed the Vice President of the SUG to get the names and registration numbers of whoever they want to give any item. who does that, registration number for collection of palliative given to us by the state government.

Well, if he's asking for names and reg numbers, then that makes sense. He must however distribute the relief items.
Meanwhile, what are students doing in school anyway?

Some students are stranded. Those staying far away. Most of them couldn't raise their transport fare before the ban on interstate travels. The palliative was meant to be distributed amongst them.
