If a Yoruba person commits a crime, igbos and Yorubas will condemn the person, you'll hardly see someone emphasize on his yoruba tribe or see derogatory remarks about them. So Yorubas don't have to be defensive.
But if an igbo man commits the same crime...damn.
We all know how such threads go down, Yorubas will be falling over themselves trying to make the most derogatory or abusive remark on igbos, thus pushing igbos to be defensive.
Igbos aren't defending the crime committed by the person, but rather the assault from Yorubas on the Igbo tribe.
