Just after alleging that the second Niger bridge will be Buhari’s ‘gift’ to Nigerians, another media aid Femi Adesina, has said Nigeria has what it takes to take more loans.

He made this known while on call Fresh FM, The Nation reports. Femi Adesina says there is nothing wrong with Nigeria taking more loans

Adesina has argued that there is nothing wrong with the federal government sourcing for more loans to fund developmental projects in the country.

He however urged Nigerians to stop criticising efforts of the federal government in securing more loans to develop the country, pointing out that Nigeria's economy has the capacity to absorb more loans.

He said it  there is no crime in taking loans for developmental purpose but that it is criminal to take loans for the purpose of diverting to private pockets. Adesina pointed out that the huge debt which the country owes was largely borrowed by previous administrations.

I wish they could just use the country as a collateral, so that the Europeans can own us again undecided

We were better off with/under them.

South Africa is a good example!

My pains is not that the loan is gotten but that some people have strategically positioned themselves to steal the cash just to lock up the money somewhere or for luxury. For goodness sake, the cost of governance is too expensive in Nigeria.

Why flock to the " European owned" South Africa like flies then? Why don't you stay put in your " made in China" Nigeria?

South Africa is more developed than Nigeria because some of "Them" stayed back (and are today, referred to as South Africans) to make it what it is today.

Maybe, we would have been better off if they stayed a little longer with us and perhaps integrate.

Our leaders approach sometimes make one feel like we had our independence rather too early.

Yes we should collect more loans so that APC will beat the looting record set by the People's Democratic Party since oil prices are not high anymore.

Please Baba, take more loans and finish all the infrastructural projects you started. When the incomings looting administration gets in, they will pay the debts and there will be little left to embezzle. We know that whether it is APC candidate or PDP candidate that wins the 2023 election, the winner is coming in to loot. Just as some mad people have been looting in this your administration, but we are glad that we are seeing little things that you are doing. So take more loans, but you must finish all the projects at hand including but not limited to the following;

Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan Railway
Kaduna-Abuja Railway
Ajaokuta-Itakpe-Warri Railway
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway
Apapa-Oshodi-Iyana_Oworo Expressway
2nd Niger Bridge
Remodeling of several international airports
Mambilla Power Project

Please can someone list what Goatluck Jonaddaft did with the loan he collected?
