Chief of Staff to Head Of State Muhammadu Buhari, Proffesor Ibrahim Gambari, has just resigned as Chairman of the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development (SCDDD).

Gambari's resignation was heard in a statement by the Executive Supervisor of the Centre, Amb. Abdullahi Omaki. According to him, he was surrendering his appointment to avoid disputes of passion.

This is a normal procedure considering the fact he is now holding a political Position now, he also took this step to avoid backlash from different channels in the country.
