Tottenham star Heung-Min Son reported back to training after completing his military service in his home country South Korea.

The 27-year-old swapped his all-white Spurs kit for camouflage overalls as he spent time in Seoul after completing his compulsory national service in the South Korean Military. He impressed during the training and finished among the top five performers.

He has since returned back to North London and made his return to the training pitch as the rest of the Premier League began their first sessions since the coronavirus pandemic caused football to be suspended.

Son did not need to self-isolate after returning from South Korea as he has not tested positive for coronavirus, in line with Premier League and Government protocols.

The Spurs forward took part in a session at Hotspur Way Training Ground and posed for the camera with much shorter hair than usual.

The break that has been caused by the pandemic allowed the South Korean to fully recover from a broken arm that could have written off the rest of his season and he was also able to complete the Military service without it affecting his footballing calendar.

Footage emerged from Sky News of some of Tottenham's squad taking part in shooting drills at their headquarters whilst remaining safely distanced.

Corner flags, balls, cones, goalposts, playing surfaces and other equipment will be disinfected after each session, while social distancing must be 'strictly observed' during these sessions.

As the rest of the Premier League clubs made their much anticipated return to the training field, it was revealed that just six players and staff tested postive for coronavirus out of 748 tests across the league.

Meanwhile, across London, Chelsea also made a return to their Cobham training ground as they started in small groups and kept to the social distancing guidelines per the Premier League's Project Restart plans.
