Two Hundred and ninety-two Nigerians evacuated from Saudi Arabia because of the Coronavirus pandemic have have arrived in Nigeria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, who announced the evacuation on on his twitter page on Wednesday morning, said the evacuees were mostly nursing mothers and children.


We got 292 evacuees abandoned in Saudi Arabia yesterday. The Saudi Government transported them to Abuja. A huge number are nursing moms and kids and they are for the most part serenely settled in hotels under the compulsory 14 days isolate.


This will be the fourth batches of Nigerians to be moved from foreign nations. 265 Nigerians were evacuted from the United Arab Emirates on May 6. On Friday May 8, 253 Nigerians were cleared from the United Kingdom, and afterward on Sunday May 10, 160 Nigerians were emptied from the US.


With this most recent evacuation, 970 Nigerians have so far been evacuated from different nations because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
