*The sum of the contract was N623.7 million for the 1,200 desktops and computers for the use of the custom Service all over the country he said*

how can you budget 623million naira for 1,200 desktop and printers ahhhh ,fear God oo

1desktop +1 digital printer can't cost more than =#250,000 ,since they are not from a retailer
1,200 X #250,000=#300,000,000(300million)
maybe #1million for transportation
total cost =301million
#623.7million - #301million = #322.7million
abeg what will happen to the remaining 322.7million nah

Why is Federal government financing State University? Or is it under TETFUND ,the approval was sought?
Same surprise I felt when I read this post. Since when did FG start directly approving funds for State University projects? I even doubt if this approval is through TETFUND because TetFund have annual budget for infrastructure and training for each public University, and I have never read of when the minister of Education has to seek approval of FEC for a Tetfund project.

Everything government does people must criticize. I am sure those critics will be the worst in people to be in government. That’s why they can’t be trusted with even the smallest amount of responsibilty

Misplaced priority, they have no money even to feed the citizens for just a day but they can award contract for any project even when the reasons for doing so is not feasible. Masses will surely rise up one, it's just a matter of time

That 1.2 billion should have been used to build factories in the 6 geopolitical zone that can employ over 10,000 graduates. The ones that have graduated can't even leave their father's house at age 30.

Our universities are in a very poor state. We should be funding old ones, not building new ones.
