Hello guys, please Computer Engineers and Computer Scientists, I really need your answer, I want to do my Masters in Computer Science here in Nigeria but I studied computer Engineering and I graduated with a Second Class Upper Division, do I really need a PGD before I can do Masters in Computer Science?? and why I chose Computer Science is because that's what am practicing currently (Software Engineering) and what I love.

I am pretty sure you don't need PGD with such high CGPA.

Thanks but you have idea of any Federal university that allow direct masters without PGD for the specified course

University of Benin. I switched faculty when I did mine at Uniben with a good CGPA I didn't have to do PGD. Make inquiries

Several na. With your 2.1, you will have your pick among Federal, State and Private universities.

I would advise you to continue in computer engineering. You can still do programming and software in computer engineering

2 years (24 months) at most at Uniben. UI also has a fast program

I really don't think there is a degree course like that in Nigeria. either you go do statistics, computer science or computer Engineering. You can only get that as a degree abroad.
