The poem you are about to read concerns a Giant who believed he is too strong for a pandemic (covid19) that has dealt with bigger Giants.
If you don't or you like poems, this may water your interest beacuse you are familiar with some of the settings mentioned. Read with a slow pace, but let me know if you need more clarification.

BUSINESS AS USUAL

Close your gates, you can't?
Darker days ahead your light
Close your doors you Giant and
Guide your grave, groove right

You shrubs outside, crumbs inside
Growing oil, deserts feedable soils
You fry dry crude and cry high you Giant
No more oil Giant, paddle your ferry

Your lights all dim?
Whistle your liars, call them!
"Covid1-9 can't kill black Giants"
They are ready, no, you won't lie

Covid19 crawls not only at Nights
With lights, it still fights
Caging those telling truth; they with bright sight
Covid19 spares not your opened door

Covid knows not you Giant
Police don't shoot it, he's gallant
Own your own carelessness Giant
Not business as usual, be gallant

The poet's name is Abiodun Itunu. He is a social media strategist.
