Seyi makinde do something ooo...oyo state case don they get out of hand ooo

There will be more casess in Oyo and Edo states. Their governors have behaved irresponsibly over this covid 19 issue.

While other states were on total lockdown in April to flatten the curve, they refused to impose lockdown on their states, Makinde did not because of his populist policy and Obaseki because of the impending governorship election in Edo state.

Makinde is the only governor in the southwest who did not provide even a single maggi cube to his people for palliatives, ostensibly because they are not on lockdown. Las las he will achieve very little because their is no populist government in history that has achieved any meaningful development.

As for Obaseki, the day of reckoning is surely around the corner.

At the rate we are testing, these midnight updates will continue for the next 300 years to test all Nigerians! grin

So let nobody mention lockdown again.

Thank GOD this Corona is not as deadly in Nigeria!

Why is there no reported cases in the SE states.

NCDC is so bias as if there is no COVID-19 in the SE states.

I'm so bitter why the NCDC are not reporting the cases in the SE states.

Nonsense

If every state government is performing the kind of test going on in Oyo their cases will be much higher than that.
Testing the so called essential services companies.
Imagine, as of Friday 103 Corona patient has been recorded in a company (ISON).

FYI, Makinde has distributed Palliative to over 100k households.

Who total lockdown help? Lagos?

If cases in Oyo keeps increasing at this pace, am afraid Oyo will soon surpass Kano and Abuja. What's more frightening and worrisome is how the sate government handles it. Market is crowded, commercial busses carry overload as usual and no serious effort is made even on the part of the government to fulfil the social distancing culture.

I think the Federal Government should at this point Open up the economy and let life return to normal.. Cos it doesn't look like this virus is going anytime soon....we've got to learn to live with it.

The government should tell the patients drugs combination they're using to Treat patients at the isolation centres, and release the the patients.
Because as it stands it doesn't look like they still use ventilators.

Instead of wasting billions isolation thousands of people... why not open the economy let life return to normal, Tell the public what you using to treat those discharged patients, so that if anybody get the virus, he/she can treat him/her self .
Just like malaria.

Anyone reading this would think that people don't die from this virus. Abeg I still have many aged relatives living with me o and I don't want my contact with them to literary be their own end. We should factor in our old folks in these analyses.

Is that the number of people that no longer believe is getting higher everyday smiley cool

Yes, but knowing the kind of government we have, these corrupt leaders would just ignore the people's skepticisms and just carry on with their schemes. Lagosians for once need to get angry and protest these shady dealings. If people don't come out aggressively into the streets to call LASG and NCDC out, this will just end another ineffectual Social Media rant. Government doesn't care what anybody thinks.

The attached images are from May 22nd and 23rd respectively. The number of deaths were unchanging

NCDC erred here. NCDC claimed that 10 deaths on 23 May 2020, so the figure of deaths is supposed to be 231 and not 221.

PS: Just checked NCDC site. 221 deaths for 23 May 2020. OP on Nairaland erred by adding 10 deaths for May 23 on the topic.

As a Biafran we hate to give subjection to the zoo. However as the world know what separate us is the ability and capacity to reason logically which the zoo has been lacking from the time lord Lugard came.

Now lets us set aside the 419 boko harem hausa fulani manipulated number from the real and actual number of real time covid 19 case you will observe that Lagos state has not be able to flatten its curve to a controllable state and the fact that the boko harem Jubril boys that post the figure all of a sudden stop reporting about the figures from north and kano state should not only worries you but bothers you when there is free movement.

We from our side understand that every force in the zoo being road safety, defence force; vigilantee; boko harem soldiers etc are in every few kilometre on roads in the zoo extorting money from people

Now can you see this zoo get any better; Be truthful to yourself

I don't think the covid 19 is as serious as the govt is making it look. If it was so serious a lot of people would have died in Nigeria.
You need to go to our markets in nigeria to understand this. Even during the lockdown, most people didn't follow precautions, after the lockdown ease, everyone is going about their business. The only thing disturbing is the 6 to 8 curfew.
Some useless companies are also taking advantage of lockdown ease to cheat their employees. Covid symptoms is very similar to malaria, nigerians have so much adapted to malaria that some don't even treat it when they have it and it goes on it's own. If malaria catch oyinbo, and e no use medicine, e fit die sharply.
The govt should remove the useless curfew and let people gone back to business fully.
