10.AZADI STADIUM (IRAN) –

The tenth biggest stadium in the world is suitated at Iran with a massive capacity of 84,412. The stadium was built within three years between 1970 and 1973 for €1,163,944.It was formerly called the Aryamehr Stadium and it’s the home ground of the Iran national team. It is part of the Azadi Sport Complex and is in the middle of a rowing river, with football training pitches surrounding it alongside swimming facilities, a weightlifting complex and more. It was renamed after the Iranian Revolution, changing from a moniker that meant ‘Light of Aryans’ to the more appropriate Persian word for ‘Freedom’.

9.BORG EL ARAB STADIUM (EGYPT)-

Borg el Arab stadium is the ninth biggest stadium in the world with a capacity of 86,000.The stadium was built as part of Egypt’s bid to host the 2010 World Cup, with another five international standard grounds also planned for the same purpose. Along with the Cairo International Stadium and the Mubarak Stadium in Giza, it is one of the venues that hosts Egypt’s international football matches. Though the capacity of the stadium is 86,000, 35% of the ground’s total seating capacity is taken up by the terrace and first class stand.It has a car park that is large enough to fit in 5000 cars.

8.BUKIT JALIL NATIONAL STADIUM(MALAYSIA) –

The motive of building this stadium was to host the Commonwealth games of 1998 which later took place in Kuala Lumpur in September of that same year.It has a capacity of 87,000 and it’s considered to be the best grounds in Malaysia.The Malaysia National Football Team stadium often hosts major tournament like the FESPIC, the Southern Asian Games and ASEAN University Games.It have also hosted music concert from various artists.
