Flying through several forums... I was able to come across the required engine oil grades for Mercedes Benz vehicles. But guess what?
The recommended oil grades varies with the prevailing temperature. Hence we have the chart from amsoil below.

Hence don't let anyone else tell you that the 20W 50, 10W 50, 15W 50 oil grades are terrible for your cars!!

Even some vehicles recommend it for certain climates

Follow car manufacturer direction strictly as regard the oil that work best for their Engine for some peculiarities in the engine eg vvt etc if you don't want issue ,
Disregard any third party oil sale pitch
