1st Iranian ship reaches Venezuela with no sign of US interference

CARACAS, Venezuela — The first of five tankers loaded with gasoline sent from Iran reached Venezuelan waters late Saturday, expected to temporarily ease the South American nation’s fuel crunch while defying Trump administration sanctions targeting the two U.S. foes.

The oil tanker Fortune encountered no immediate signs of U.S. interference as it eased through Caribbean waters toward the Venezuelan coast and Venezuelan officials celebrated the arrival.

“Iran and Venezuela have always supported each other in times of difficulty,” Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza tweeted. “Today, the first ship with gasoline arrives for our people.”

5 Iran tankers sailing to Venezuela amid US pressure tactics
Five Iranian tankers likely carrying at least $45.5 million worth of gasoline and similar products are now sailing to Venezuela, part of a wider deal between the two U.S.-sanctioned nations amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington.

The tanker and four behind it were finishing a high seas journey amid a burgeoning relationship between Iran and Venezuela, both of which Washington says are ruled by repressive regimes.

Russ Dallen, head of the Miami-based investment firm Caracas Capital Markets, confirmed the Fortune’s location using ship tracking technology. He said the Clavel, the last of the five ships, was about 3 1/2 days behind the lead tanker.

Venezuela sits atop the world’s largest oil reserves, but it must import gasoline because production has crashed in the last two decades. Critics blame corruption and mismanagement by the socialist administration amid an economic crisis that has led to huge migration by Venezuelans seeking to escape poverty, shortages of basic goods and crime.

The Iranian tankers hold what analysts estimate to be enough gasoline to supply Venezuela for two to three weeks.

US sanctions on the country has left the country unabke to buy chemical additives used in refining petroleum products and spare parts the crucial to the functioning of the refineries. Some of the Iranian tankers are carrying those additives and spare parts.

U.S can't do nothing this is just a unilateral action uncle sam is taking it has no UN approval so Iran is free to ship its oil to any country that needs it. America has isolated itself with her unilateral withdrawal from the 2015 deal. If not for the threat of sanction European countries were ready to continue doing business with Iran. In 2008, when the sanctions was hitting Iran the hardest, all its refineries were out of operation. It was this same Venezuela under Hugo chavez that assisted Iran in rebuilding it's oil infrastructures. That is why Iran is also assisting them in their time of need.
No Iran has 11 functioning refineries with 3 more under construction.

Read your map because those vessels are on International water.
If USA should attack it on International water than USA ships will not be safe on International water too because that means China, Russia or any country can arrest Ships on International water.
