but scientifically there must be a reason covid is not so bad in Africa...since February it has killed about 3,500 in Africa when things like malaria has killed more than that number within that time frame...there must be a scientific reason why covid is not devastating the Africa region despite us having poor health system...I think WHO was saying because Africa has the youngest population in the world, more than 60% of Africans are below 25...
You might be right on the age part, because Italy has one of d highest population of elderly people in the world, so maybe that's y d death toll is so much there. But concerning Africa I really can't deduce what's actually saving us. It could be climate or our immune system that have adapted to many deadly infectious diseases like malaria, tuberculosis etc. Some people actually treats malaria is without taking drugs. So in my lay man analysis, I think our system has adapted to many sicknesses in Africa that's y we re having low deaths.

If this figures are real, trust me Nigeria wont negotiate lockdown.
All this numbers re just to syphon money and present to global world. Just imagine the way this covid-19 spreads in other countries, no single street or major road in Nigeria has been fumigated.
That's the least measure we can take o

I was in a very busy market today and I continued to imagine....."what if" this virus is real like it is in the US and other countries? We will be counting the losses maybe in thousands.....
Who knows what is keeping us all safe?

Every single day must record and produce new cases.

Other countries are showing us live matches and NCDC are showing us live scores

I fear who no fear Ncdc

And las las non of us including our family members will be a victim of this virus, we All we live to tell the story..

but they test negative and recover within weeks which is not same with HIV...so stigmatization is ignorance in this case...
Ignorance on the part of the patient yes, stigmatization on the part of the public. Infected patient are too scared to open up on their recovery because stigmatization from the public.

You are wicked, so you want your Oyo state to be relegated to division 2.
that would of course be the best thing..dat would mean we won't be fighting for the league title((wit lagos)),,the champions league place((wit kano, katsina, rivers and the likes))

I think many have tried to answer why the infection rate and pattern of spread in Africa is lower compared to Europe and the US. WHO came up with Africa having the youngest population in the world as over 60% are below 25, this will reduce severity of the disease because the disease is known to be more severe among the old. Also the issue of genetic factor, adaptability ( Africa has seen a lot of epidemics), environmental factors etc. Nothing is very sure for now, with time proper studies will be done

I get you...that's why it is far better in the western world...with proper enlightenment and education there won't be need to stigmatize

What is keeping us safe is that the thing is not existing here, that's just the fact.
Our leaders have politicised this thing and make it an avenue to steal.

thankz to god..OYO state is out of the top 10 race.

Who told you , probably they don't carry out test there or they reduce the number of test so as not to create panic in people.

This Shit is getting real and out of hand. Buhari should as a matter of urgency lockdown all states for at least two months .

Based on research that the virus tint affect children, all nursery, primary and secondary schools should be opened while universities remain closed.

May God heal our land.
Why not 2 years instead of two months, you must still be eating from your mama's pot.

Abeg Delta people I no fit shout O! Make we take care on top this Corona matter, has the number come dey go up small small.
Obaseki sha release another 20 something case again tomorrow, since he now normally skip one day b4 bringing his samples for testing. Meanwhile Lagos is on heat every day the state is at the top.

Only God knows how many trillions this people will assume they used during this whole pandemic cos I know it certainly gonna be above billions with the way they are adding cases on daily basis.
Nigeria won't even stop at 100k cases even if the world has make a breakthrough for the vaccine

The Shiitt is overhyped.People need serious overhauling to know sicknesses like this come and stay but it's not a death sentence as usual.Just like HIV is now.

How can Imo state record 27 new cases in one fell swoop? What is going on? Imo state is lucky to be surrounded by other states that have very low Corona virus cases yet look at what is happening!!

When an incompetent puppet is giving unmerited power to rule, this is what will always happen.

SMH!!
