Nigerian foreign minister says no less that fifty Nigerian women were rescued from traffickers in Lebanon and returned home safely. The Nigerian foreign minister, Geoffrey Onyeama said fifty Nigerian women has been rescued from their traffickers in Lebanon and returned to Nigeria on Sunday. The fifty women have been placed on quarantine on their arrival to test for any positive symptoms of COVID-19. After which they will be interviewed by the Nigeria’s National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
