When I say I gathered, it is not a statement of fact...

You know you are very temperamental, and I have the right words to use....I will not want you to have a bad week.

Please let's be civil here.

Am not temperamental actually.. The vexing isn't serious.I dislike it when I feel am right and one still stubbornly opposes me.

In the case of the 4th alteration, example the Case of Akeredolu v Abraham....whilst the case was ongoing at the SC, the 180 days was introduced and passed by the NA.
That effectively killed the case, irrespective the fact that as at filing and processes at the FHC and CoA, the cases were still inline.

Again, with the SC judgement on the OUK case..that the presiding judge had been promoted, over 70 cases are dead by that decision.

Are you saying that inec's deregistration doesn't affect this case as it matters?

I have established from you that....once you are a candidate in an election, it is NOT COMPULSORY to join your party as a member of the suit. All you need to do is file your processes?

That's what they should do...

This is Youth Party..they have instituted their own case in Court
. The SC judgement on Kalu's accomplice did not invalidate the case and 70 others but it was an order for a retrial for all cases because the judge was not supposed to preside over them sequel to his promotion. Also the nature of your case determines who will be petitioners and co petitioners. if the LM candidate wants to be declared winner his party must be included on the petition as a. co petitioner and his deputy too..However he only wants to correct an anomaly in the election process which does not benefit him..Inclusion of his party is not a necessity ..Marafa vrs APC 2019

Do not also forget that Marafa v APC & Ors was a pre-election matter and not a post-election case.

It is confirmed however that LM has been deregistered....its breaking news!

No Problem......I appreciate, thanks!

The Bayelsa State Governorship Election Tribunal has rejected an application by the Liberation Movement (LM) to be made a party in the petition challenging the qualification of the state’s Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, to contest the last election in the state.
LM’s candidate in the November 16, 2019 governorship election in Bayelsa, Vijah Opuama had filed the petition, alleging that Senator Ewhrudjakpo submitted forged credentials and documents that contain false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the election.
On May 5, 2020 the LM filed its application to be made a co-petitioner in the case, claiming to be an interested party, who will be affected by the outcome.
The tribunal took arguments from parties on the application on Monday morning.
In a ruling a moment ago, the tribunal’s Chairman, Justice Ibrahim Sirajo upheld the arguments of the respondents, to the effect that the party failed to justify why it filed the application late.
Justice Sirajo held that there was no exceptional circumstances to warrant the granting of the applicant’s request to have its application heard outside the tribunal’s pre-hearing session.
He noted that the time for the hearing of such application has elapsed, with the applicant not being able to justify why it delayed in seeking to be made a party in a petition filed by its candidate.
The tribunal has stood down proceedings briefly to enable a subpoenaed witness – the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to produce a copy of the subpoena served on him, and on which basis he appeared before the tribunal.
A representative of the DG, DSS had already mounted the witness box, bt was asked to step down when he cold not produce the actual copy of the subpoena issued on him on behalf of the petitioner.
The witness, Abdulsalam Ibrahim had the copy issued on him on behalf of one of the respondents, which the tribunal Chairman said was inadequate
Details shortly.

Fergie the case has started as scheduled originally
