ON May 29, that is tomorrow, President Muhammadu Buhari will mark his fifth anniversary in office. Questions will concentrate the minds of many. What does the North want out of Nigeria? Is there an exclusive Northern agenda? If there is, to what extent does that agenda promote national unity? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/05/nigeria-what-does-buhari-really-want/ Lalasticlala

The migration is not recent. It has been on for over a year now. For those in Lagos who are sensitive to their immediate environment, they'll realize that Hausa/Northern Okada riders have increased drastically with the past one year. If there is to be a coordinated attack, these guys will comfortably man streets or avenues and lay a siege without hassle. Over 350 Igbo communities (in Enugu) are presently under the grasp of Fulani militias and it seems okay as no one is saying a thing about the recent development. I read a thread recently on Twitter, of how some Northern nitwits claim their mission is secure the South and have it bottled because it was given to them by their god. https://www.sunnewsonline.com/350-herdsmens-camps-exist-in-igbo-communities-intersociety-claims/amp/ https://allnews.ng/news/enugu-leads-as-jihadist-herdsmen-forcefully-invade-occupy-350-igbo-communities-intersociety The presence of COVID-19 only made people attentive to the strategic movements of these folks. Before now, no one cared. One wonders how these guys get so large within a short period of time that they seize forests, and farms that are not in their territories and use them as hideouts while the NPF and the Nigerian Army look on despite unprovoked attacks. And the worst part; Fulani herdsmen maiming, killing and raping all have a name now - herders-farmers' clash. With the senseless bloodsheds, these guys still get to walk away and strategize bigger attacks on any community that dare to report them. And then there is the large cache of arms that are supplied via helicopters as reported by various people in different states. Despite all of these happenings, we have a president that is unbothered and doesn't seem to care about the plight of unfortunate farmers who not only lose millions of Naira for having their farms vandalized but getting killed for voicing out against trespassing. His handlers plagiarized Obama's speech and made him (Buhari) read it during his swearing-in 2015 ("I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody". The best he would have done is pretend to live by what he read but no. What we have is an ailing, chauvinistic individual with no clue of governance. Nonsense.
