A lot of us are spending more and more time on virtual meetings, and that doesn’t seem likely to change any time soon. If that’s the case, it seems like it might be worth it to get the most out of those meetings. After all, there’s no question that virtual meetings are very different than the in-person variety.

In many cases, they’re also pretty bad. Virtual meetings, meaning those held over videoconferencing, are exhausting. They’re also frequently poorly executed and not very engaging.
